Image Transfer Instructions with Gelli Arts Plate Prepare the plate: Place a pea-sized amount of black acrylic paint on your Gelli Arts plate. Use a brayer (roller) to spread the paint into a thin, even layer. The paint should fully cover the plate and not be see-through. Apply the image: Carefully place your printable image face-down on the wet paint. Smooth gently with your fingers to remove air bubblesdo not press too hard. Lift the image: Peel up one corner to check if the image has transferred. Once ready, remove the image completely. Your design will now appear on the gel plate. Dry the image: Let the plate dry completely before the next step. Add the second color: Roll a thin, even layer of a contrasting acrylic paint over the dried image. You should still see the image faintly beneath the paint. Pull the print: Place a clean sheet of paper on top of the wet paint. Press firmly and evenly across the entire surface. Wait about 10 minutes for the paint to dry. Reveal your print: Slowly peel the paper off the plate. Your transferred image is now complete!
