They would pile up in drawers, waiting for a specific refill, or worse, end up in the bin despite being perfectly usable if only they had ink. After years of designing and handcrafting calligraphy and fountain pens for creatives worldwide, I decided it was time to tackle one of the biggest culprits: the everyday writing pen. The result? The Wren is compatible with all but the most experimental fountain pen inks (think shimmer + iridescent). Note: Calligraphy Ink has an acrylic binder which will block the pen and is not suitable for use with the Wren. Some ink colours can concentrate in the tip, so you may experience a lighter colour after a line or two. This is completely normal and looks quite nice!
